Kate's Therapeutic Practice

Trauma, sadness, anxiety, concentration problems, grief, and challenging behaviors (like defiance and temper tantrums) often challenge both caregivers and children alike. They contribute to stress, feelings of isolation, and problems at school, home, and in the community. Left untreated, these issues can also lead to long-term physical and mental health challenges. I aim to empower children, teens, and families to create the change they wish to see in their lives. By building resiliency, not only do we work to address current problems, but we also develop the tools to better cope with future challenges.

I meet each client where they're at developmentally, matching my services to their unique needs and experiences. I am honored when children and families invite me to walk alongside them on their journeys. Making changes in our lives often takes great courage. I never cease to be inspired by my clients' strength, creativity, and perseverence.

Good Faith Estimate

Under the law, healthcare providers are required to provide individuals who do not have insurance or are paying privately (choosing not to file a claim with their insurance for services provided) with a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of therapeutic services. Make sure your therapist provides you with a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one (1) business day before your appointment. You can also ask your therapist for a Good Faith Estimate when you schedule your appointment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Please keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate.
